Shocking vision has emerged of a man being viciously attacked by a kangaroo in Ballina, northern New South Wales.
The massive roo can be seen stomping on the man as he stumbles to the ground while trying to flee.
The man is backed into a corner against a fence where the animal continues the assault.

The man attempted to fend the kangaroo off with a stick before he pinned down the marsupial.
It is not known whether the man or kangaroo sustained any injuries as a result of the fight.
